Frequently Asked Questions
When and where is the conference taking place?
AACMAC 2027 will be held from Friday to Sunday 6-8 August 2027 at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, 158 Ferny Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217. The conference will also be broadcast online via our dedicated livestream platform for remote participants.
How can I register for the conference, and what are the fees?
Registration fees vary depending on your participant category (e.g. AACMA member, student member), the number of days attending (3-day, 2-day, 1-day), the attendance format (in-person or online livestream), and the registration period (e.g. Super Early Bird, Early Bird). Please stay tuned with this site for ticketing information.
Once registration opens, you can register online yourself, or register with us by returning a completed registration form or calling +61 7 3457 1800 to register by phone.
How many Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points can I get from AACMAC 2026?
AACMAC comes with a 3-day academic program, including two breakout streams.
By attending the full conference, 3-day ticket holders can easily meet their annual CPD requirements (at least 20 CPD points, 4 professional issues CPD points and 5 practitioner interaction CPD points) within a single event.
Are there options for virtual attendance or hybrid participation?
Yes. AACMAC 2027 offers hybrid attendance options. Online delegates will have access to livestream sessions, recordings and live Q&A. Online participants are able to engage with speakers and fellow delegates throughout the conference.
Delegates attending in-person will also be given the online access to the livestream and the flexibility to join the virtual interaction.
All tickets include access to the conference recordings for a limited time following the event.
Will there be opportunities for networking or meetups?
Yes. The conference includes morning and afternoon tea breaks, lunch sessions and a trade exhibition featuring representatives from across the TCM industry and community. A social dinner will be held on Saturday 7 August 2027, day 2 of the conference program, providing an opportunity to connect with peers and industry leaders.
Are accommodations and travel arrangements provided or recommended?
While accommodation bookings are not managed directly by the conference organisers, special delegate rates have been secured at the conference venue JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. An exclusive accommodation booking link with special rates will be announced in due course.
Are there any workshops, panel discussions, or special sessions included?
Yes. The program includes lecture presentations, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, demonstration sessions and practical learning opportunities designed to enhance clinical understanding and professional development.
