Having studied psychology and trained as a psychiatric nurse before encountering acupuncture, John McDonald has always been keenly interested in Chinese Medicine ideas about emotions. John currently practises in Southport and lectures at Endeavour College of Natural Medicine.Since 1971 John has served in many roles including practitioner, lecturer, curriculum developer, Dean of Faculty, author, researcher, peer reviewer, conference speaker, Adjunct Senior Lecturer (School of Medicine, Griffith University) and Deputy Chair of Acupuncture Now Australia.
